MEET YOUR PANELISTS
Dr. James House
Dr. James D. House is a Full Professor and the Manitoba Strategic Research Chair in Sustainable Protein in the Department of Food and Human Nutritional Sciences, University of Manitoba. He completed his Ph.D. in amino acid nutrition and metabolism from the University of Guelph.
Dr. House's research focuses on 1) sulfur amino acid metabolism in animals, 2) sustainable egg production systems, and 3) factors influencing dietary protein quality. His program has trained over 40 graduate students, 16 post-docs, and 40 undergrads. He is a fellow of the Canadian Nutrition Society and has received awards from Canadian societies and the University of Manitoba.
JENNA STANGLAND
MS, RDN, LDN, CSSD, CLT
Jenna Strangland is a Board-Certified Specialist in Sports Dietetics. She obtained her master's from Ohio State University, where she researched iron in female athletes. She then worked in the physiology department, researching muscular dystrophy.
Today, Jenna is the Director of Nutrition for the Minnesota Timberwolves and Team Dietitian for the Minnesota Wild. Her areas of expertise include implementing evidence-based nutritional performance plans, optimizing menu offerings, designing recovery science protocols, and overseeing food execution on the road. Jenna also conducts biomarker testing and reviews physiological data to individualize nutrition plans and supplementation.
DR. ROB WILDMAN
RDN, LDN, CISSN, FISSN
Dr. Rob Wildman received his PhD from The Ohio State University, MS from Florida State University, and BS from the University of Pittsburgh. He is a registered dietitian and has launched hundreds of products into the food and dietary supplement markets for companies like Dymatize, PowerBar, Premier Protein, GNC, and others.
Today, Wildman is Principal at Demeter Consultants. He has authored four books and over 100 papers/abstracts on nutrition, created TheNutritionDr.com, and founded the International Protein Board. Dr. Rob is a renowned expert in exercise, fitness, and nutrition and speaks globally on sports nutrition and works with elite athletes to optimize performance.
